The Jewish Women’s Archive is currently soliciting applications and nominations for the 2016 Natalia Twersky Educator Award. Presented annually, The Twersky Award honors educators who share JWA’s commitment to inspiring inclusivity in their communities and to using primary sources creatively in their teaching.

JWA invites you to join them in spreading the word about this exciting opportunity for both educators (working in any setting with students in middle and high school) and for the schools and programs that support them. You can nominate an educator you know, encourage directors, educators, and school leaders to nominate a colleague or submit an application, or apply yourself!

Nominations and pre-applications can be submitted now; nominations are due March 20, 2016 and pre-applications are due by April 1, 2016. Selected applicants will be invited to submit additional materials by June 15, 2016. The winner and finalist will be announced in Fall 2016.

All information regarding the prize can be found at jwa.org/twersky.
