Teacher launches interactive ‘adventures in wonderland’ workshops for children

A Jewish teacher with 25 years’ experience has launched a series of interactive workshops on national curriculum sub­jects for primary school-age children.

Mrs Emily Ben-Ze’ev, who taught in Jewish schools including Menorah Primary School and Mathilda Marks-Kennedy, said the work­shops, under the title, Emily’s Adventures in Wonderland, covered sci­ence, history, geography, art and music and would create “hands-on, exciting opportunities” for children to learn in a “fun and exciting” way.

Mrs Ben Ze’ev, who received “Outstanding” grades in every Ofsted inspection she underwent as a teacher, said: “I do think that children need creativ­ity as part of their education — and if you can link it cross-curricular, it’s even better.
